A day retreat that inviting us to connect with our heart creatively and joyfully.
Create your own four-point mandala, also known in the Americas as Ojo de Dios or God’s Eye. Immersing in deep relaxation through sound bath & creativity through colors and geometry.
Gain insight into your self through creative and mindful mandala weaving. Brings body, mind, and spirit into unity and harmony.
We start the day with a soothing and relaxing sonic massage also known as a sound bath. Using instruments such as Tibetan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls, Gongs, and chimes you will relax to the sound, allowing your body-mind to relax and open to a more subtle and receptive part in yourself.
Later we will be exploring the symbology of the God’s eye mandala geometry. We set our intention from the heart and learn what is the benefit of working with mandalas. Here we will be sharing the importance of weaving as a symbol of coherent connection and strength as we move into our heart center.
Mandalas work as a mirror that reflects one’s thinking patterns carried on in daily life.
It is essential for our mental and emotional health to connect with others, to create with our hands, to learn, make mistakes, be curious and explore. Mandalas are a beautiful medium to do so, a simple and yet powerful way to remain in nurturing balance. Weaving is an ancient art that has been used traditionally in many ancient cultures around the globe. It is a way of maintaining the mind and heart in harmony.
Some other benefits of weaving are; extended relaxation and concentration, dopamine and serotonin release (our happy hormones), a sense of accomplishment, confidence, stimulation of cognitive and motor skills, the release of repressed feelings and emotions, and stimulation of creative thinking and problem-solving.
